Open Mind Commerce is a trading division of Open Minded Solutions Limited. We are a full service ISP established since 2004 and we are based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
In early 2004/05 we were actively developing bespoke eCommerce stores for clients. Although these stores were all bespoke configurations designed around the clients business, we found that many elements of the store shared common techniques and code.
During 2006 we decided to plan out a new commercial platform utilising all the techniques and "best bits" from our stores into a simple eCommerce platform that could be used by any retailer. Eighteen months and five betas later we launched Open Mind Commerce on October 3rd, 2007.
Since then the product has evolved dramatically though direct feedback from retailers and has been warmly accepted by the industry as one of the simplest yet effective commercial eCommerce software platforms and our solution now powers well over 500 stores for retailers large and small.
